Are you a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant looking to make a difference in students lives? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic SLPA to join our school district for the remainder of the school year. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while supporting K-5th grade students in a collaborative and rewarding school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the SLP to implement individualized speech therapy plans for students in K-5th grade
- Conduct speech-language screenings and assessments under the direction of the SLP
- Provide direct support to students, documenting progress and therapy session records
- Assist with the preparation of materials and resources for effective therapy sessions
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or SLPA Associates Degree
- Must hold a valid Texas SLPA License
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with the SLP, teachers, and other professionals
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage therapy sessions and student progress
